Anti-NRIP抗体regulation, cell cycle control and apoptosis. NRIP is a novel 860a.a nuclear protein consisting of seven conserved WD40 domains and one NLS motif. It binds to androgen and glucocorticoid receptors and up-regulates their transcriptional activity, thereby functioning as a nuclear receptor co-activator. Role of NRIP has been implicated in cell growth and also in cervical and prostrate cancer, thus indicating a potential therapeutic intervention. Northern Blot analysis detects a high expression of NRIP in skeletal muscle and testis and low expression in heart, prostrate and adrenal gland.
